Welcome to the First Gathering of the Cambridge Coaching Society

We are delighted to invite you to the inaugural event of the Cambridge Coaching Society, a new initiative aimed at connecting individuals across the University of Cambridge—and beyond—who are engaged in or curious about the world of coaching in its many forms.

This informal and networking-focused evening is a unique opportunity to:

— Learn more about the coaching programs currently offered at Cambridge
— Explore research, initiatives, and opportunities within the coaching field

Who Should Attend:

This event is open to current members of the University of Cambridge and also to those outside the university who have a strong interest in coaching and are considering applying for one of Cambridge’s coaching-related programs.
What to Expect:

We’ll begin with a welcome from the President Mehryar Hamid and Vice President Kristina Lebedeva of the society, followed by two engaging talks:

Academic Director, MSt in Coaching at the University of Cambridge
James will speak about his current work on community building and knowledge sharing—key themes that resonate deeply with coaching practice.
Dr Alex Carter
Lead Tutor, Philosophy Module, MSt in Coaching at the University of Cambridge
Alex will offer insights into recent academic research in the coaching space, with a focus on philosophical foundations of coaching.
